Christmas Card #6

Good evening, sorry about the quality of this pic but I haven't been home early enough to get a photo in natural light so I think this is the best it is going to be.

My card today is for the weekly Bah Humbug Challenge which this week is to use a doily. When I saw this panic set in as I have never used a doily. Went down to local Wilkies and found a pack of 20 in various sizes. I have used the smallest in the pack for this card.  Heaven knows what I am going to do with the rest!!

I have followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers.

Stamp - Art Impressions Christmas Mailbox coloured with Promarkers.
Papers -  Zoe Pearn Happy Holidays
Sentiment - Digital, sorry can't remember where from.
Martha Stewart Punch - Arch Lattice

I agree with Vicky Debs this is just fabulous. Sorry our challenge involved a shopping trip but the results have been well worth it. Your card is just brilliant.
Perhaps you could use some of the large doilies like stencils and perhaps spray through them to make a background. I don't know whether it will work or not but it sounds feasable. If it doesn't don't blame me it was Max's idea.

Your wee doily looks brilliant behind your super image, especially with those gorgeous papers.
LOL @ Ann
Doilies make beautiful stencils and masks - believe me! - so I'm sure you will find more than one use for the remaining doilies ... and if not then you can always jazz up your sideplates next time you have coffee and biccies lol! Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!

Love the way that trellis border picks up on the candy canes & the top patterned paper too. The glitter is gorgeous & I do like that use of the doily - you could always cut the doilys into jhalves & quarters to use on cards. shall have to investigate that myself.

I definately have to get me some doilies! :) I expect if you chalk through them onto plain paper it would make interesting DP too?

This is so pretty, love the glitter on this, and the candy canes and ribbon look great. I love the punch too - which is it?
