Happy Birthday

Good Afternoon all. Hope you've had a lovely day. I was up at 5 this morning with Chris who's gone fishing with my dad. Mum is away in London for a few days with my dad's sister. I've just called her and it sounds like she is having a great time.  We had a lovely day yesterday.  We went to Bodnant Gardens in Wales, it was lovely, all the trees turning red and then we went to Penrhyn Castle and had a lovely meal on the way back so it was quite a long day.

I decided to tidy up my craft (dining) room this morning and all was going well until I remembered I needed a card for one of Chris's work colleagues, so now my room is back to square one and I'm too tired to tidy it again.  It can wait 'til tomorrow I'll just shut the door and pretend its not there.

Here is the culprit card.  Hope you like it.  Try to ignore the off kilter matting and layering.  The image is stuck down with that red tape so it wasn't going to budge again.

Nutcrafters Challenge #27

Good Morning All.

Today I have my Nutcrafters DT card.  The challenge this week has been set by Gemma and she has set a fab challenge:
 Glitter and Gems

Here's my card.

I have used this really cute digi stamp from the new Christmas Stamp Set - Moonbeams (available very soon)
Coloured with Promarkers
Sentiment - See D stamp set
Glamour Dust and Gold Glitter
Star Gems from stash
Ribbon  from stash.

Don't look too closely at her wing.  I took loads of pics but couldn't make this look any better.  I've used a new (to me) glitter and I think it looks good on the card but on the photo looks really dense and splodgy.
We would love to see some of you joining in with the challenge this week. You don't need to use a Nutcrafters image but we would love it if you do.  There are some lovely freebies available here

Main Prize (You need to use a Nutcrafters image)

2nd Prize (No need to use Nutcrafters image, just follow the challenge) 2 Digi stamps or 1 Stamp Sheet (subject to availability)

I went back to 2008 with trepidation because I knew that my cards back then were a bit 'dodgy' but thankfully the first christmas card I added was a Penny Black 'Snowy' card and you can't go wrong with him can you.

Good Morning all!! Isn't it a gorgeous day!! I've got all the windows open, washing on the line, birds tweeting and card made. What more does a girl need lol.

Well my card this morning is for my baby girl Emily.  It's her birthday on Saturday and she is leaving her teens behind.  20 years, where on earth has that gone!!  Then she's off back to Uni in Lincoln Sunday, boo hoo!!

As soon as I saw this image'To Grandmother's House by Mo Manning' I knew I had to  buy it.  This is why.
