Bah Humbug Challenge 20

The challenge at Bah Humbug this week is 'Silhouettes'.  Now when I saw this I just went Aaaaaggghhh.  The only image I have with a Christmas Silhouette is one I have already used for a previous challenge so Google had to come to my rescue.  This image is from a free  clipart site  http://www.fundraw.com/ and is called kid's hanging stocking silhouette.

I used my Snowflakes cuttlebug folder for the background and coloured some little peeloffs black.  The ribbon and bow is from a Christmas kit I got at The Range years ago.  I have used a little bit of glamour dust on the flames in the fireplace.

Weekly Christmas Card

This weeks Christmas card is a quickie. The challenge at Bah Humbug this week is ribbons so it's a great excuse to use this beautiful ribbon that I bought in the January Sales at my local garden centre.  The ribbon is so gorgeous that I have made it the focal point of the card and just added a peel off sentiment.  I hope you agree that it doesn't need anything else.

I am also entering it into Susie and Vikki's Christmas Challenge as this week it is Anything Christmas.  Told you it was a quickie!!!!  Now I am off out into the sunshine before it disappears again.

Friendship Card

My card today is for the friendship swap over on DoCrafts and also for Lisa's Digi Challenge which this week is to make the sentiment the focal point of the card.  I don't really know if I have done that though as this digi image from Mo Manning is so fab, I don't think anybody would bother reading the sentiment.

I have printed the sentiment on Word.  The backing paper is Stamping Up.  Flower, gems and ribbon from stash.  The image is coloured with Promarkers.  Oh just noticed that the challenge at Mo's Challenge Blog this week is to inlcude flowers so it would be rude not to enter wouldn't it.

4 Challenge Card

Just got back from Manchester, we were watching the Great Manchester Run, don't know if you caught any of it on the telly but it was blooming cold.  Great fun though, the atmosphere around us was great.  Chris has just put kettle on to warm us up so popped on here to upload the card I made last night.  It is for my sister and her husband who are celebrating their third wedding anniversary next week.

The first challenge I am entering is the Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Flowers.  I have used the Penny Black Stamp 'You're a Treasure' and coloured it with Promarkers.

The flowers are from another challenge win and I have used card candy for the centres.  The daisy charm is from The Works.  The second challenge  is Sketch Saturday where there is  a fabulous sketch.  The third challenge is One Stop Craft Challenge where the theme is Summer Breeze.  I think the colours I have used are Summery colours and the final challenge is Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge which is to include something 'Metal'.  The papers I have used are Stamping Up, sentiment is a SeeD stamp, Martha Stewart Border punch 'Doily Lace' ribbon and gems from stash.

Just Magnolia/Totally Gorjuss Challenge Card

My card today is for 2 challenges.  The first is Just Magnolia which this week is 'It Takes Two'  you need to use 2 or more Magnolia images on your card so I have used this gorgeous Tilda with Cowberry Muffin and Shelf stamp.

The second challenge is the one at Totally Gorjuss which is to use the colours Pink and Green.  The papers are Stamping Up, I have paper pieced the little t-towels on the shelf, the mixing bowl is a Unity Stamp.  I have coloured using Promarkers and used a little 3D glaze on the mixing bowl and icing on the cake.  The sentiment is a SeeD sentiment inked up with Promarker pen.

This week's Christmas Card

Hello again, I am really enjoying making my weekly Christmas Cards and am gradually finding more and more challenges to join.  Oh I will be so smug come October/November when everyone else is panicking that they haven't done theirs.

My card today is for the Bah Humbug Challenge - Christmas Food.  Started to panic when I saw the challenge this week cos I didn't think I had anything 'foody' but found this cute Tilda that a fellow crafter had sent me.  Think a candy cane counts as Christmas Food doesn't it.  The backing paper has got Gingerbread men on too.  I am also entering it into the Christmas Card Challenge which is to include Bows.  The backing paper is from DCWV Christmas multistack.  Gems and ribbon from stash.  I have used the X Cut diamond punch too.

Lisa's Yellow/Blue Digi Challenge

Well it's May 8th, British Summertime, so why is it so blooming cold.  I am determined not to put the heating back on but am sat here with a jumper and cardi on.

My first card today is for Lisa's Digi challenge over on Docrafts which this week is to use the colours Blue and Yellow.

I have used this cute image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  It is called 'Celebrate' and I have coloured it with Promarkers.  The papers are from my scrap drawer so sorry I don't know the name of them.  I have followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers.   Friday sketchers are celebrating their 2 year anniversary and all the DT have candy to give away on their blogs so go and check it out.   I am also entering this card into the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge which this week is a recipe of 3 embellishments, 2 papers and 1 image.  The sentiment is a SeeD stamp and the ribbon, flowers and gems are from my stash.  Oops just noticed I haven't coloured her shoes - I'll go and do that right now!!!

Monochrome Sugar Nellie

The challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers Sugar Nellie Forum is to make a monochrome card.  I thought this would be really difficult but went through my papers and pulled out all the blues that went together and just used 2 of the papers.  I paper pieced the dress and then used a co-ordinating promarker to colour the ribbon, shoes and sleeves.

I have followed the fab sketch from Friday Sketchers.  The papers are Stamping Up.  The image is 'Demure' by Elizabeth Bell.  I have popped the central white mat through Swiss Dots on the Cuttlebug. The sentiment is See D inked up with Blue Pearl Promarker to match the ribbon.  Ribbon, flowers and gems from stash.

I have followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday and used a digital image from Meljen's Designs coloured with Promarkers.  The backing papers are from Stamping Up.  Flowers are Papermania and gems from stash.  I am also entering this card into The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge which is Friendship and the I Love Digi Challenge which is to make a Thank You card.

ABC/Bah Humbug Christmas Card

Good morning, how come when the weekend comes around and you can have a lie in, you are always awake with the dawn chorus.  Once I am awake I have to get up so I have already put a wash in and pegged it out on the line, tidied up and made this card.

It is for this week's Bah Humbug challenge - Snowflake and the ABC Christmas Challenge - I for Ice.  I have used the backing paper from Lidl Christmas Pack.  SeeD stamped image coloured with Promarkers.  Large embossed snowflake is Cuttlebug folder.  Ribbon, gems and peel off from stash.
