Sorry I've been a stranger

Good Afternoon all. I'm really sorry that I haven't posted for ages but I am still stuggling to get my mojo back. I keep going into my craft (dining) room and looking around but nope, nothing jumps out at me. I am feeling a bit down in the dumps to be honest.

I have made a couple of cards but I must admit I only made them because I had to.  The first one is an almost copy of one I made last year.

and for the second one I wanted to try something different, so I took inspiration from Tara and made this Shabby Chic/Vintage card for a colleague at work who is turning 50 on Monday.

I've done a little bit more crocheting too.  Emily asked me to do this one.  The 11th Doctor

White on White

Good Morning everyone. Hasn't it been a lovely morning. Today I am posting a card made for my Auntie Christine's 60th birthday.  She is my mum's youngest sister and mum and dad are going to stay with her next weekend so they can take my card with them.  She lives in Lincoln so they can pop in and see Emily whilst they are there.  Chris is taking her back to Lincoln today so she can have a week of revision before Uni starts again next Monday.

I have made a white on white card, think I have gone a bit OTT with the embellishments though.

Brenda's 70th Birthday

Another quick one today.  This card has been asked for by one of my sister's neighbours.  I made a 70th card for her last year and she wanted one for a friend of hers.
The brief was Brenda, 70, smooth white cat.

I googled white cat pics and after going cross eyed finally came up with this one.  Matted it onto silver mirri card and then onto swiss dots embossed card.    I printed the sentiment on computer and added a few little white pearls.

Mum is still in hospital, she has managed to get herself a chest infection after the op so won't be home as soon as we thought.  The consultant saw her yesterday and said it would probably be a few days.  Just been round to mum and dad's house and given it a good clean while he was at afternoon visiting, it wasn't too bad as dad hasn't been there much.  Going to have something to eat and then off to evening visit.  I think my car knows it's own way there now!
