I've been meaning to join in with the
Sugar Bowl challenge since I first saw the fabulous sketch and have now finally had time! Chris has gone out walking this morning. He is doing The 3 Peaks later on this year and needs all the practice he can get. He has done (as have I) all the 3 Peaks but with a gap in between and he thinks it will be a doddle doing them all in one go. I think he is mad but proud of him for attempting it. I did all 3 in a month and it took a while for my legs to recover. Emily hasn't made it down the stairs yet, I think I have heard her moving about but haven't seen her yet and Stewart, well I haven't seen him since Thursday!! He is starting his new job tomorrow so making the most of his last days as a student. He graduated in July and has been out of work since then.
I have used this gorgeous Sugar Nellie Sassy stamp 'Hippie Chick' coloured with Promarkers. Isn't she fab!
Papers - Stamping Up and My Minds Eye
Sentiment - Paula Pascuale
Sizzix Swirl
Woodware leaf punch
Gems and flowers from stash.
I am also entering this card into:
Colour Create Challenge - Lemon, Green and White
Top Tip Tuesday - Girlie
Right I am off to see if I can get another birthday card done before I get interrupted. Might see you later!!

Love the colours & your interpretation of that sketch. It's lovely how different she looks with the way that people colour her & this works particularly well with the lovely muted colours & those swirls.

Hi Debs :)
I've come to your blog from the last Sugar Bowl challenge linky as I've just bought this stamp and am now feeling a bit overwhelmed by the task of colouring her (it's a bit of a different style for me!)!! The way you've coloured her with nice subtle tones is so lovely and love the rest of your card, too, so I think I'll be popping back when I get around to trying myself for inspiration!! :)
Hope you have a lovely weekend -fingers crossed we get that sun that's been rumoured for Manchester tomorrow!! :)
hugs, Rachel x
