Retirement Card

Good Morning Everyone.  Well looks like Fred the weatherman has got it wrong again.  He said it would be nice today but what have I got ..............light drizzle.......... the stuff that wets you right through!!

My card today is one I made a while ago but couldn't post until now.  It was made for a work colleague who retired on Wednesday.

I've used this beautiful Sugar Nellie stamp  'Sweet Ebony Flowers' coloured with Promarkers.  She is one of the first I bought and I am very ashamed to say I have only inked her up maybe twice!!  Sorry about my fingers showing in the mirri card.

My card is being entered into the following challenges:

Passion for Promarkers - Anything Goes
I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes

Backing papers - Bo Bunny and I think scraps of Basic Grey
Flowers - WOC
Sentiment - Lili of the Valley
Peel Offs and gems from stash (very old)
The flower embossed frame I won in a candy.

Before I go here is a sneaky peek of my Nutcrafters card using one of  the new Winter Stamps Collection which will be released on Wednesday 7 September.

Please pop over to see more Sneaky Peaks at Nutcrafters.  The DT call is still open, but you'll have to be quick and there is still a chance to win 3 lots of candy.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend xx

And I know what you mean by rain that wets you, some you can skip through and get damp, some is fine and very wetting..lol..

I love the dimensional framing for her & your soft colouring picked up by that floral spray. The butterfly provides such a lovely contrast too. Debateable weather here too.

Hiya, I really hope I haven't left three comments on this one card-I have been using my husbands laptop downstairs to bloghop and I can't get on with the bloomin' thing. Anyway I am back upstairs now and so can say I love your card, lovely image and beautifully put together.
