What a gorgeous day it has been. I am so glad as Chris is finally doing his Three Peaks Challenge today and we have been a bit worried about the weather. The Challenge is to climb the 3 highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. He drove up to Fort William yesterday and stayed in a B&B overnight. Chris is in a team of 5 and there are 30 odd teams altogether. They started climbing Ben Nevis one minute apart and Chris was team no 2 starting at 4.01 am this morning. He phoned around 9 to say he had finished in 4hrs 46. Not a bad time for him. They should now be climbing Scafell Pike as they are allowed 5 and half hours driving time so his start time should be 2.17pm, hopefully the traffic wasn't too bad and they got there in time.
Me and Emily are driving down to Snowdon later to pick him up as the rest of the lads live down near Birmingham so it's the opposite direction to us in Manchester. It's going to be silly o'clock as he should be getting back down around 4 am so I am going to try and get a couple of hours sleep soon.
I have made a card today but Chris has taken my camera. I tried taking a pic with Stewart's Olympus but the memory card doesn't fit my computer so I'll have to take another tomorrow and post it then.

Well hasn't he done well!! is this for charity or fun? you'll need plenty of sleep hopefully the journey for you won't be too much take it easy........:) Sandra H
Try using a USB cable to connect the Olympus to the computer. Take it steady with the driving yourself & it sounds an incredible challenge. All the best for eveyone taking part.
