Monochrome Sugar Nellie

The challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers Sugar Nellie Forum is to make a monochrome card.  I thought this would be really difficult but went through my papers and pulled out all the blues that went together and just used 2 of the papers.  I paper pieced the dress and then used a co-ordinating promarker to colour the ribbon, shoes and sleeves.

I have followed the fab sketch from Friday Sketchers.  The papers are Stamping Up.  The image is 'Demure' by Elizabeth Bell.  I have popped the central white mat through Swiss Dots on the Cuttlebug. The sentiment is See D inked up with Blue Pearl Promarker to match the ribbon.  Ribbon, flowers and gems from stash.

I love these soft blues - I hadn't thought of paper piecing - in fact I've just purchased some Gorjuss girls just for that purpose so you've given me the incentive to try.
