My second card for today is another Christmas Card. I am entering this one into 3 challenges. The first is the Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is to use triangles or zig zags. I have used this cute PB image coloured with Promarkers.
The second challenge I am entering is the ABC Christmas Challenge - V for vertical. There are 2 sketches to choose from and they are asking you to put 2 more V's on your card. My 2 words are Vellum and Vivacious.
The third and final challenge is the Winter Wonderland Challenge - Have a Mousey Christmas.

Not a Card
The challenge over on All Things Sugar Nellie this week is anything but a card. In the past I have made these magnetic bookmarks and my daughter keeps asking me to make one for her friend Sam who is even more of a bookaholic than she is and that is hard to believe as my daughter is on first name terms with all the Manchester and Tameside librarians and has permanently got something either on order or waiting to be collected lol. We can't go shopping without being dragged into bookshops and whenever we are on holiday she somehow manages to find all the little old fashioned shops.
I have used this cute 'Cheddar' image coloured with Promarkers and the papers are a free download from Zoe Pearn 'My Little Sunshine'. The flowers are punched and gems added to the centres. I have also punched the magnet flowers out of the little magnetic picture frames you can buy in Poundworld. These are great for stopping the bookmark from falling out of the book like most bookmarks do.

Bah Humbug Challenge 41 - Elegance
The challenge over at Bah Humbug this week is Elegance. Everyone has their own idea of what elegance means and to me an elegant card is a simple card without too much clutter. I love this Whiff of Joy image and have always thought she looks very elegant.
Image - Willow with Lantern Whiff of Joy coloured with Promarkers.
I am also entering it into the Whiff of Joy Challenge - Distressing (if you look closely I have roughed up the edges with my stitch ripper). Sketch is from Friday Sketchers.

Sugar Bowl Sketch Challenge
Most of the girls over on the All Things Sugar Nellie forum have joined in with this weeks Sugar Bowl Challenge, so feeling left out I have given it a go. It looked very tricky at first but once I had got all the papers together it worked out fine, until I came to put the image on!!! I found a great image and coloured it in to match the papers. Feeling very proud of myself I went on the Sugar Nellie website to find out the name of the image and it wasn't there. I then searched through all my favourites to discover it was a blooming Whiff of Joy. Then had to quickly peel it off the front of the card and find another image that was suitable, and yes I did check it was a Sugar Nellie before I coloured her in lol.

Bah Humbug/Sugar Nellie.
Here is this week's Christmas Card. Again it is for the Bah Humbug Challenge which this week is 'Vellum'. Now at first I thought, oh 'eck! but then I remembered my old trusty Lidl Paper Pack. Each Christmas paper has got a matching vellum (which I very rarely use) so out it came. My pack is looking very tatty and thin now as most of the papers have gone, just a few scraps of each left. I hope they bring out another pack this year.
The squares on my card are using the paper and I have made the ribbon and punched the snowflakes out of the vellum with a Martha Stewart punch. The image is a Sugar Nellie 'Sledging' and I have coloured it with Promarkers. I am also entering this card into this weeks All Things Sugar Nellie on PaperCraft Planet. This I have embossed the background with the Cuttlebug snowflakes folder and finally added my usual glamour dust and snow from BMs and added a couple of clear gems. I have used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Jolly Glow
Not been around much this week so sorry I haven't been commenting as much as usual. Been busy at home, hubby has been in Sweden all week so I have been the resident 'taxi driver' for the kids. He got home last night and has just gone to do the weekly shop so I found a little bit of time to make this week's Christmas Card.

Sketch Saturday Birthday Card
Just got a bit of time to upload this birthday card before I dash off out to pick Stewart up from Manchester.
I have used another of my 'Penelope' images from Pollycraft and again coloured her with Promarkers. I must try to use some of my other types of colouring medium, I have neglected them for sooooo long. The backing papers are Stamping Up. Punched flowers and gems from stash. I have followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday.
Aussie Christmas Card
This week's Christmas Card is again for 3 challenges. The first is Bah Humbug which this week is 'Across the Miles' and the second is for Die Cut Dreams which is 'Glitter, Ribbon and Gems'.
My hubby brought me back a set of Kangaroo Stamps from when he was working in Australia earlier this year. At the time I thought 'what the 'eck am I going to do with them' but this is a Christmas Card for my friend Teresa who emigrated to Australia a few years ago. She always sends me cards with either Kangaroos or Koalas on, so she'll get a shock when I send her one back lol!
The 3rd challenge is the sketch which is from Sweet Sketch Wednesdays. My stamp is coloured with Promarkers. Sentiment is made on computer and Snowflakes are Die Cuts. Ribbon and gems from stash.
