What a great start to the day, just found out I have won some gorgeous Stamping Up papers from the fabulous and oh so generous Stephanie

I am off work on Tuesdays and this is the first Tuesday I have had on my own since the end of June. My son went back to University last Wednesday, so I am going to make the most of it and try and get some Christmas cards made.

Christine's Birthday

I have made this card for a lady I work with. I have used the sketch from Friday Sketchers and have used the challenge at Just Magnolia which this week is a colour challenge to use the colours pink and grey with an option of black. Oh just noticed the One Stop Craft Challenge is to use die cuts, so my Nesties should be okay for this challenge.



I have used 'Ice Princess Tilda' coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from The Exquisite Paper Collection by Papermania. Sentiment from a See D set. Flowers I received in a swap and little flower sequins I got yesterday at Dunelm Mill. Didn't know they sold craft stuff there but got some of the Bloom and Grow 6 x 6 papers for £2.62 and a Christmas paper pad for £2.99.

Friday Sketchers

Second card for today is for the Friday Sketchers Challenge. The prize for this challenge is 5 digi stamps of your choice from the fabulous Digital Stamp Oasis. Go and check out the challenge it is a lovely sketch and the DT cards are fabulous as usual.

Passion For Promarkers Challenge

Morning everyone, what a beautiful day it is here today. The sun is shining and a lovely blue sky. Off shopping later with my mum, while my dad and hubby fit my new gas fire and fireplace.

Another card today to add to my Christmas box. This card fits in with the Passion for Promarkers Challenge which this week in Polka Dots with any colours.

The paper is a free download called Strawberry Sundae, sorry can't remember where from ( I must start labelling downloads properly). I'll try and find it later and update my post. Stamp is from Pink Gem 'Winter Mimi'.

Hair - Apricot and Spice

Sketch Saturday Challenge

New Home Card

My sister and her husband moved down to Cirencester on Thursday, along with their dog Fudge and the two cats Solo and Yoda. We will really miss them especially Fudge (that sounds awful doesn't it) but we see more of Fudge as we look after her while Dawn and Freddy are away and my daughter regularly walks her as we only live across the park from her.

The challenge this week on Just Magnolia is EMBOSSING so I dragged out my old light box which hadn't seen the light of day for over a year and my brass stencils to emboss the wording and the little flowers.

Sugar Bowl Challenge

I have made 2 cards tonight for Emily's friends who are twins. The first is for Liz and I am entering this into the Sugar Bowl Challenge. Hope it isn't too late as the challenge changes on Thursdays. There is a lovely sketch to follow designed by Kathy.

Simon Says Challenge

Over at Simon Says Challenge there is some special candy this week to celebrate Heidi's birthday. Heidi has very generously sponsored hundreds of challenges in Blogworld so as a thank you the DT have asked if all the followers would make Heidi a birthday card. I have followed the gorgeous sketch designed by Iris and have really enjoyed doing this challenge.

Just Magnolia Challenge

The challenge at Just Magnolia this week is a fab sketch designed by Mina. I have used this lovely image of Tilda coloured with Promarkers. It is a bit brighter than I would normally do but the lady that this is for is a very jolly, larger than life person who always dresses in bright colours so I think she will like it.

Dinosaur Card

I had to make this card in a hurry on Thursday night. It is for one of the GPs I work with, it's his birthday on Sunday so had to get it done so I could take it in work Friday. He is a lovely man and we all call him the 'old fossil' because he is the oldest person at work so thought this image would be suitable. Hope he doesn't mind (don't think he will).
