Bah Humbug Challenge

The challenge at Bah Humbug this week is 'Trees'. I am mega late with this one, a new challenge starts tomorrow but I have been so busy the time just ran away with me. So I guess it is better late than never.

I have used the paper from the Lidl pack again and made the ribbon by cutting up the matching vellum. I have used 3D gloss on the trees and sprinkled with a bit of glamour dust. Finished off with a candy dot and peel off.

What a lovely day

Good afternoon, what a lovely day, the sun is shining, the birds are singing and I picked up my new car this morning. I have never had a brand new car before but I couldn't resist the scrappage offer. I got £2100 back on my old Punto and bought myself a cute little Hyundai i10. Ooh I do feel posh lol.
My card today is a new baby card for my cousin Sharon, she gave birth to her third on Saturday. They haven't decided on a final name yet but it will be Jessica Lucy or Lucy Jessica.

Sorry about the photo but this is the best of the lot, I couldn't get one without shadows. I have used the Forever Friends stamp 'New Arrival' and coloured with Promarkers. The paper is Stamping Up. The stamp die is one of the freebie ones that comes with the Cuttlebug. Image cut out with nesties. Corners are Sizzix dies. Ribbon and gems from stash. Sentiment Clare Curd.

I am entering this card into 2 challenges, Cute Card Thursday which is to use Ribbon and One Stop Craft Challenge which is 'optimistically pink'.

Simon Says meets Basic Grey meets Sketch Saturday

Oh my goodness, where on earth did this snow come from again. Woke up to about 3 inches of the stuff this morning. It started to melt but now is coming down again!!! I was even bragging yesterday about how I had been able to get out in the garden and do a bit of tidying up. The added bonus of today though is that I got a bit of unexpected crafting time. I was supposed to be taking Emily to Daisy Nook country park where she is a voluntary warden, they were going to do some hedge laying but Jane the warden phoned to say it was off, yayyyy. Em wasn't impressed though she had got up early and was all dressed ready to go. So the card I have made today is for the Simon Says Challenge where there is a fabulous prize up for grabs to celebrate the welcome of their new DT members. The challenge is to use 3 embellishments, 2 designer papers and 1 image.

I have used the sketch from Sketch Saturday Challenge and the challenge over at Basic Grey is to use the colours Maroon, lemon and pink so I have entered into their challenge too.
The image I have used is from Stampavie, it is Precious Moments be Sarah Kay, I have coloured her with Promarkers and Whispers Pens. The papers are Basic Grey Two Scoops. The flowers are from my stash. Gems from Home Bargains and charm from The Works.
